From maintaining gardens and lush greenery to caring for drains and beaches, your work ensures the resort's natural beauty always shines.
With a strong sense of pride and attention to detail, you'll approach each task with care, helping create an unforgettable environment for our guests and colleagues alike.In this role, you will be responsible for :Performing tasks such as mowing, whipper snipping, planting, fertilising of both plants and lawns, weeding and rubbish collection.Maintaining all gardens, surrounding landscape, drains / beaches and guest area.
You'll keep our landscape looking lush and vibrant.Organising supplies and making sure equipment is ready for the next day.Completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Living up to high safety standards – follow guidelines and inform Landscaping / Engineering Management about any incidents, dangerous conditions or unsafe equipment.Taking responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas around the entire resort.Always keeping an eye out for improvements – following any preventative maintenance calendars and keeping everything working and efficient at all times.Notifying your direct report about any low running supplies.Performing other reasonable duties that may be assigned to you by the Landscaping Management.About youWe are seeking someone who is hands-on, proactive and takes pride in finding smart solutions on the go.
Additionally, someone who is confident working with tools and systems, from general equipment to digital reporting platforms like HotSoS and Hardcat.
You will need to bring a strong safety mindset to everything you do.You must be physically fit and ready for the demands of island life, spending your day on your feet, bending, kneeling, and tackling tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
You'll need to lift and move equipment weighing up to 32kg and working in the sun for extended hours with appropriate PPE.
