**Customer Experience and Digital Technology?**

The purpose of Customer Experience and Digital Technology is to design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australian's love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post. The key areas that Customer Experience and Digital Technology is responsible for include Customer Experience, Customer Services, Decipha, Identity and Financial Services, Digital Channels, Data Science, Data Commercialisation, Product Engineering and Platforms, as well as Technology.

**What does the role involve?**

Our Data & Analytics vision is to create a scalable, low-risk analytics environment that enables low-touch descriptive analytics and encourages business-led, high-value decision support mechanisms. To enable our vision, we are on a change journey to modernise the way we manage Data & Analytics and allow the democratisation of Data, AI and ML to our business.

As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will lead our vision to enable modern data experiences and data products. You will provide the technology ambition, technology expertise and strategic leadership for developing and implementing our data and analytics strategy and initiatives that enable our business to deliver great customer and workforce experiences.

You will have overall accountability for the planning and executing the Data & Analytics technology ambition, shaping and architecting business ideas to optimise outcomes, solutioning & delivery of the investment program and operational delivery of technology services to our businesses and customers.

**Some of your day-day responsibilities will include**:

- Being accountable for executing the Data & Analytics strategy that balances innovation, digital enablement, disciplined execution, and operational excellence.
- Leading the driving of data governance and data quality across the organisation.
- Working across our businesses and technology teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and ensure that a step change in our customer's experience is achieved through technology.
- Developing and managing the business system lifecycle plan (asset management plan), including information assets for Data & Analytics and service improvement activities.
- Financial accountability for the $20m+ of Internal projects, Enterprise projects and the BAU portfolio.
- Leading a governance structure that aligns to Technology initiatives with business priorities while balancing resource constraints (human and commercial) to optimise Technology investments (investment program) across the Enterprise.
- Being accountable for the leadership and delivery of all Technology services, including Entities (plan, build, run) for Data & Analytics across the Enterprise.
- Negotiating and influencing optimal business and commercial customer outcomes with internal/external service providers. Build and maintain industry relationships at the product and talent level.
- Ensuring that all initiatives in the Data & Analytics Investment programs and Technology portfolios have transparent customer and business alignment within and across all our businesses.

**What are we looking for?**
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Data & Analytics within IT;
- Extensive experience working within a Technology function in a large, complex organisation with proven experience leading Data & Analytics teams;
- Strong leadership in bringing together a multi-faceted data & analytics team to design, build, deploy and operate modern data products;
- Previous experience formulating strategies and strategically/ operationally negotiating to achieve the most optimal commercial and service outcomes;
- An understanding of data & analytics technologies and how Organisations use technologies to solve problems;
