**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a Spatial Manager to work collaboratively to deliver GIS services and support our consulting staff. You will have been working in a professional services firm using the latest spatial tools for 5+ years to provide effective advice to clients across a range of spatial projects and activities.
You will be supported and coached by highly experienced manager, and you'll help us grow our next generation of talent.

**You will**:
Have the responsibility to manage three direct reports within our Sydney office.
- Liaise with consulting staff at all levels of the business to raise awareness of how spatial analysis can directly contribute to client outcomes.
- Assist in composing maps, with varying levels of complexity from simple to complex, fitting with the corporate brand and standard product specifications as well as cartographic principals to client defined requirements.
- You will lead our cartographic vision on all facets of map production, including contributing to a review of current Urbis map templates and cartographic styles.
- Ability to maintain corporate spatial data used by the national Spatial team.
- Continue to drive consistency of high-quality output from the spatial team to the wider business.
- Quoting fees to input into draft proposals, tenders, and submissions for potential projects.

About You
- Excel working with passionate stakeholders and generating creative spatial solutions
- Desirable tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems (or equivalent)
- Professional with about 5-7 years' work experience in a similar role
- Experience working knowledge of ESRI's Arcmap, ArcGIS Pro and A.G.O.L as well as Microsoft software stack
- Experience working with a wide variety of spatial data types, including their creation and maintenance
- Knowledge of excellent cartographic practice
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- A strong understanding of client service principles
- Basic understanding of statutory planning principles and methods.
- Ability to communicate very effectively both verbally and through written communication.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret research data and data storytelling skills to report it
