**About the role**:
The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Manager, Workforce Education and Development to lead the design of the Collaborative Centre's future workforce capability operating model, which will coordinate workforce development and training that is informed by evidence (including the evidence of lived experience).
Reporting to the Director, Research Strategy, the Manager, Workforce Education and Development will also work closely with the broader research team to deliver a public learning and engagement program.

**About you**:
**Knowledge and Skills**
Conceptual and Analytical Ability - deals with concepts and complexity comfortable; uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems, has creative ideas and can project how these can link to innovations.
Systems Thinking - diagnoses trends, obstacles and opportunities in the internal and external environment; understands the linkages between natural systems and communities to inform policy; conceptualises and defines the systems working within the organisation.
Project Management - consults, liaises with and influences key stakeholders; produces detailed project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specified; monitors performance against objectives and manages project risks and issues; ensures project objectives are met.
**Qualifications / Specialist Expertise**
Demonstrated experience working with people that have a past or current lived experience of mental ill-health or psychological distress is preferable.
A tertiary qualification in fields related to mental health, social sciences, health administration and/or public health is desirable
Specialist Expertise - Expert knowledge relating to effective workforce education and development building within the mental health (preferred), human services or health sectors, including working within complex systems to effect change on the ground.
