About the Role
Key accountabilities (Role description attached)
Demonstrated ability to maintain Grounds and Facilities
Ability to conduct minor repairs and maintenance (Reactive & Planned) to Grounds and Facilities (except jobs that require qualified tradesperson)
Proven experience working with machinery, including maintenance and record keeping
Waste Management
Capability to perform activities consistent with workplace, health and safety guidelines
Ability to liaise with various internal and external personnel (e.g., tradespersons) on a variety of repair and maintenance issues
Responsible for a range of activities required by administration team
Further role specific criteria:
Proven experience working with machinery, including maintenance and record keeping
Knowledge of or ability to gain knowledge of tools and equipment including school mowers
Demonstrated awareness of HS&W requirements
Knowledge or ability to gain knowledge in school
More about you:
Willingness to undertake specific training to enhance skills as necessary
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
Proven ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, proactive and show initiative
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
Ability to think logically and solve problems
Maintain strict confidentiality as per the Code of Conduct for Qld Public Servants
