Grounds Maintenance Role

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our property maintenance team in providing an excellent grounds keeping service and property maintenance.

This part-time role involves landscaping work, maintaining clean and tidy school grounds, routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs, providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds; inventory management for grounds supplies and materials, and assisting with setting up significant school events.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Landscaping work

  • Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds; inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
  • Assist with setting up significant school events

Key qualifications and skills required:

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • An authentic Christian who lives out the faith and attends church regularly
  • A genuine friendly person with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely service
  • Experience in groundskeeping and maintenance in a school environment is desirable
