Looking for baristas, all-rounders and kitchen hand/cook

We are a new Café opening in Ipswich focusing on providing outstanding customer service, excellent coffee and delicious food. We are currently looking for reliable, energetic and conscientious employees that enjoy being part of a team.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience within the hospitality industry, particularly within cafes.
- Barista skills - 2+ years preferably
- Previous involvement in food preparation
- Have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills
- Professional and reliable
- Excellent time management skills
- Good at cash handling and multi-tasking
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, food safety and hygiene.
- The QLD Government has made it a requirement for all hospitality workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing exceptional customer service
- Preparing coffee, beverages, and food such as burgers, breakfast items, sandwiches etc.
- Taking orders and handling cash/ EFTPOS
- Clearing tables and doing dishes
- Cleaning and maintain service areas to food safety standards
- Ensuring the café is kept clean and tidy

Casual Work approx. 20-38 hours a week
Available Monday - Friday between 5am and 3pm with the possibility of occasional Saturday work in the future

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Barista: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)
