**Nikau Espresso is a brand new cafe set to open mid August in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Operating Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm.**

**We are looking to fill various positions from barista (1yr experience), kitchen hand/dishwasher, FOH/ALL ROUNDER.**

**Trials will be held at one of our cafes in the CBD.**

**BARISTA**: Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the day behind the machine runs smoothly.
- Produce consistent coffees with efficient time and service.
- Ordering and unpacking stocks.
- Maintaining the use of equipment.
- Engage and build rapport with customers.
- Early Starts (5.30am) is required.

**FOH/ALL ROUNDER**: Your responsibilities will include:

- Greet and serve customers and maintaining friendly presence.
- Engage and build rapport with customers.
- Take/serve orders and upsell additional products.
- Ensure all front-of-house areas are clean, tidy and ready for service.
- Check the food and drinks served to ensure product quality.
- Prepare special drinks like teas, smoothies and juices (training provided).
- Unpacking stock deliveries.
- Record and maintaining refrigeration temperature.
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes.

**KITCHEN HAND/DISHWASHER**: Your responsibilities will include:

- Seeking someone with good understanding of kitchen production.
- Experience is not a must but employee must show good attitude to willingness to learn and do.
- There will be lots of sandwich prepping, muffins/cakes/savoury baking, (training provided).
- Work with good hygiene practice.
- Tidy station and clean all equipments used.
- Inventory ordering.
- Early starts (5.30am) is required.

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Can show initiative on the job.
- Hardworking and brings positive energy on the daily.
- Have good attitude towards willingness to learn and do.
- Available to do early Monday-Friday starts (5am / 6am, depending on position).
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment but also able to provide a great customer experience while doing so.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
