Theatre Services Attendant

We are seeking a Theatre Services Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting patients to and from theatre and the wards, as well as providing housekeeping services within the unit.

Main duties include:

  • Transporting patients to and from theatre and the wards
  • Housekeeping within the unit, including cleaning theatres and equipment
  • Providing a friendly and professional greeting to all visitors and patients
  • Answering and assisting incoming callers in a friendly and professional manner
  • E nsuring safety at all times
  • Aiding in the smooth flow of patients through the department by collecting from wards and returning to ward

This is a part-time (3 days per week), ongoing position at Moorabbin Hospital. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for career growth and development.

About Us

Moorabbin Operating Suite is a busy elective unit performing a variety of surgeries. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to possess a PSA qualification or be willing to obtain one.
