Caval Ridge Project in Moranbah, QLD is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Leading Hand to step into a key leadership role on site.

ABOUT THE ROLE Support the Production Supervisor by leading a mining crew to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
Step up as a supervisor when needed.
Perform regular inspections and complete reports as per site policies.
Coordinate dispatch personnel, production operators, and equipment to meet production schedules.
Apply mining practices to help reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Look for ways to continuously improve.
ABOUT YOU Experience as a Step-Up Supervisor or Leading Hand in open-cut coal mining is highly valued.
Solid understanding of open-cut coal mining operations.
Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills with a friendly and motivational approach.
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Relevant qualifications in the coal mining industry.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts) LMS documents, signed by SSE or Delegate.
Current S123 and G2 certifications
Current Standard 11
