About the Centre
The North Melbourne Recreation Centre (NMRC) is an important community facility, managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with City of Melbourne.The Centre is designed to provide the local community with a range of recreational, social, cultural and educational experiences.
In addition to the Recreation Centre, the Centre Manager will also oversee the management and operation of the North Melbourne Outdoor (Seasonal) Pool (NMOP).
The pool is located approximately 200m from the Recreation Centre.
About the Role
As our fitness instructor, you will be responsible for leading Zumba Gold classes and coaching a wide range of clients.
You must have exceptional communication skills to effectively inform and demonstrate the benefits of participating in our classes.
You must also be organised to ensure that our classes run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a casual position, with a starting hourly rate of $63.50 + super.
About You
As our Group Fitness Instructor you will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness.
You will possess exceptional communication skills and can effectively motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
You will have a deep understanding of various training styles and methods, and can cater to the needs of a wide range of clients during our classes.
Our ideal candidate is also highly organised, able to manage their time effectively, and can ensure the smooth running of our classes.
Above all, you will be a team player who can bring your own positive energy and enthusiasm to our team
Essential Qualifications
Certificate III or IV in Fitness or approved equivalent
Maintain current AUSactive registration
Relevant certificates for the group fitness class that you teach
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
