About the Role

As a Strategy Manager, you'll play a key role in developing property portfolio strategies & asset management for work environments (Commercial &/or Retail) globally. This role will maintain a good working knowledge of varying property markets and industry practices in order to challenge & bring value. The Strategy and Planning Managers will work closely with the GP Business Partners to understand business needs & to shape property initiatives/solutions that can meet or exceed business expectations. Recommendations will identify optimal financial as well as operational solutions.

(50% work from office as per WFH policy)

What will your day look like?

**As a Strategy & Innovation Manager, you will**:
Co-ordinate & deliver industry, customer research and analysis and identification of best practice (internationally and within ANZ) to inform strategy development and identify innovation opportunities.
Be a strategic thought partner to Influence the senior leadership to adapt and drive efficiency improvements.
Drive automation project life cycle right from identifying impactful/ feasible processes, contribute in standardizing these processes before implementation, evaluating potential & actual efficiency impacts out of Automation implementations
Solve business problems with utmost efficiency & effectiveness using strong analytical skills
Continuously assess and understand the operational requirements to improve operational performance and business processes.
Analyse key business metrics, competitors and financial industry trends and identify strategic & innovation opportunities
Ensure business regulatory and operational risks are managed and mitigated
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines
- Strong knowledge & understanding of property accounting, Strong understanding of real estate investment & asset management.
- Identification and effective execution of improvements to processes
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills, with the ability to produce complex proprietary financial models with a high level of accuracy, flexibility & attention to detail
- Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. The selection, prioritisation and management of a portfolio of work in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver. The goal is to balance change initiatives and business-as-usual while optimising return on investment.
- Providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership, based on expertise and experience, to address needs.
- Translating business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact.
- The practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and embedding an initiative, product, program, campaign or change to achieve a set of objectives or outcomes (for customers, employees, the organisation and/or the market). This includes identifying, tracking, resolving and managing dependencies.
