Structural Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying and evaluating existing structures, preparing inspection reports, and communicating assessment results with business development colleagues and clients.
They will also provide technical advice and guidance to project personnel and subcontractors as needed, and assist in the training and development of engineering colleagues.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Survey and evaluate existing structures to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Prepare and issue associated inspection reports for use by customers and Territory Managers.
Communicate assessments and follow-up plans with business development colleagues and clients.
Engineer structural repairs within assigned territories.
Review calculations, structural drawings, and construction documents as required.
Refer questions or seek technical advice from Senior Director as needed.
Research building codes and specifications as necessary.
Provide technical sales support to Client Services Managers for prospective customers and existing clients.
Assist with training new engineers as needed.
Contribute to the development and training of engineering colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, P.E. preferred.
7+ years' experience in concrete construction, restoration, and forensic investigation.
Proven expertise in performing forensic and restoration engineering duties on existing parking structures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
