**Do you want to support our team to provide catering for school and community groups?**

Greenhills Centre is a not-for-profit campsite run by the Uniting Church just outside Canberra (approx. 15 minute drive from Weston). We support school and community groups to achieve their goals by providing catered accommodation and activities for up to 200 people on a beautiful site looking towards the Brindabella Ranges.

Flexibility is required to match our variable bookings but we are willing to discuss casual or part time arrangements to suit your circumstances.

We have various hours/days available and are happy to discuss your preferences for morning or evening shifts.

**The successful person will have**:

- Experience in a kitchen environment or willing to learn on the job
- Knife handling, food safety and preparation skills are preferred but not essential
- Well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good attention to detail and be reliable and trustworthy
- A willingness to jump into any task required
- A current ACT Working with Vulnerable People card registration or we can assist with this if needed

**What will you be doing**:

- Supporting the cooks in a unique and at times busy environment
- Assist with basic preparation including vegetables and salads
- Stock control
- Maintain kitchen, food preparation, storage and service areas and equipment to a high standard
- General cleaning, washing of dishes, serving food etc
- Strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards

- Starting pay $25 - $32 per hour depending on experience and casual/part-time, plus penalty rates, plus super.

Immediate start for the right person. Please note, you will require your own reliable transport as there is no public transport options.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 25 per week
