Dietitian - Nutrition Insights

**The Role**
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Dietitian to join Sanitarium's Nutrition Insights team, working with some of Australia's best-known food brands.
As a member of the Nutrition Insights team, you will provide evidence-based scientific substantiation of product nutrition messages, as well as contribute to the identification of nutrition opportunities for new and existing products. You will also provide a professional nutrition advisory service to Sanitarium and its consumers.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Engagement with R&D for new products and/or product renovation
- Engagement with marketing on nutrition content and messaging that is evidence-based
- Development of scientifically substantiated nutrition messages for brand communications
- Reviewing nutrition-based digital content and articles for the public
- Liaison with Regulatory teams for product compliance
- Scanning the literature for new insights and opportunities and nutrition trends
- Responding to food and nutrition related enquiries from consumers and health professionals
**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in nutrition & dietetics, with membership or eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) and Accredited Practising Dietitian status.
- Previous experience in the food industry and working with food regulations is highly desirable.
- Great verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic outlook and a growth mindset.
