Are you a passionate, experienced Dietitian ready to take the next step in your career? Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a Level 3 Paediatric Dietitian to work within our Paediatric Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred nutrition care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About the Opportunity

This senior clinical position is primarily based at Gosford Hospital, with the possibility of working at other sites across the Central Coast. The role is part-time, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The role is an integral part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children, young people, and their families. In this diverse and rewarding position, you will:

• Deliver expert nutrition care to children and adolescents across the district.
• Contribute to Paediatric Diabetes Clinics, including Insulin Pump services, working alongside Paediatricians and Endocrinologists.
• Support inpatients in the Children's Ward and Special Care Nursery.
• Work with other Dietitians to provide collaborative, consistent care.
• Guide and support Level 1/2 Dietitians, students, and Allied Health Assistants through supervision and mentorship.
• Lead or participate in clinical improvement initiatives and research in paediatric nutrition.

About You

• Qualified in Nutrition and Dietetics with full Dietitians Australia membership eligibility and strong post-grad experience, including paediatrics.
• Effective communicator with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Innovative leader with experience in quality improvement, education, and research.
• Skilled mentor providing clinical advice and supervision to support service excellence.
• Strong clinical reasoning, able to work independently and in teams, with a driver's licence and willingness to travel across the District.
