If this sounds like you, then we have your next opportunity.**Our Glazing Team are looking for a natural leader to lead our Planning and Administration team, based on-site in Tullamarine, Victoria.**
Reporting directly to Head of Melbourne Operation's Manager, your new role will be based in Tullamarine where you will be required to work closely with the Operations, Planning and Administrative teams to review future planning for all glaziers.
This role is responsible for effective resource management to maximize capacity for increased conversion of opportunities and to deliver service that exceeds customer expectations in a timely and profitable manner.
**Two main functions of the role**
**Team Manager Function**:
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, Glazing Team Managers & Glazing Supervisor and other internal and external key stakeholders.
- Lead, encourage and develop the Planning & Admin team with daily scheduling, in-complete job management, invoicing and forecasting.
- Ensure daily status reports are generated in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage & coordinate shifts and rosters.
- Implement process driven (planning & admin) initiatives to aid with development and growth.
- Ensure compliance with roles, responsibilities & accountability.
**Planning Function**:
- Work with stakeholders to review future planning runs that ensure effective productivity.
- Oversee and manage all new scheduled jobs efficiently, including delegation of tasks.
- Oversee the updating of re-scheduled jobs to ensure all products & pricing is correct and bookings are confirmed with customers.
- Manage daily capacity reservations, including shuffling planned jobs if required.
- Ensure that the job details are updated and required approvals from authorities are obtained prior to execution.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Previous experience as a planner / scheduler within a trade environment is vital.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise multiple jobs and tasks.
- An excellent communicator who has intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Hands on and natural problem solver, coordinator and can lead by example.
- Effectively lead a team to deliver timely service to stakeholders and customers.
