The City of Gosnells Engineering Construction Team is offering an exciting opportunity to step into a key role within our dynamic Engineering Works crew.
We\'re seeking a suitably qualified team leader to help guide our stormwater drainage crew, operating major construction plant including backhoes and excavators.
You\'ll play a vital part in delivering the City\'s annual stormwater drainage program, contributing to essential infrastructure that supports our growing community.What We Are Looking ForApplicants should be able to demonstrate:sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices particularly in relation to drainage works.Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices operating construction plant, primarily a backhoe or excavator.Sound knowledge of engineering construction techniques and standards.The ability to work in a team environment and lead the drainage construction team.The ability to operate safely adjacent to public utilities.Essential RequirementsCurrent MR class driver\'s licenceWhite CardOperator\'s certificateCurrent National Police Clearance (less than three months old) - Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but may be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.In return we can offer youA competitive salary and additional superannuation contributionsOpportunities to grow your skills and careerA supportive and forward-thinking work environment where your contributions shape the community\'s future.Salary and BenefitsFull time (76 hours per fortnight)Nine-day fortnightGenerous superannuation (Up to 17%, conditions apply)Free parking available onsiteHealth and Wellness program (including free annual skin checks/flu vaccinations, biennial health assessments, seasonal fitness/yoga and wellness sessions)Convenient location close to Roe, Albany and Tonkin HighwaysAccess to health fund corporate discountAnnual Salary: $89,425 per annumReady to apply?
