Leadership & Volunteering Officer

Join the University as a Leadership and Volunteering Officer and play a key role in empowering students and fostering meaningful connections. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll oversee the administration and operations of our Leadership and Volunteering service while creating transformative opportunities for students.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in volunteering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build partnerships with industry, community, and government. In this role, you'll represent the University, deliver impactful programs, and make a real difference in students' lives.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated relevant experience in student development and program delivery, implementing new initiatives and taking an innovative approach while leveraging cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service to diverse student cohorts, understanding and addressing their needs effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to negotiate, collaborate, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners.
- Strong adherence to policy, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and consistency in all activities.
- Exceptional organisational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and manage competing priorities effectively to deliver a variety of student development activities.
- A strong team player attitude, contributing positively to a cooperative team environment.

**Qualifications**
A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
