We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineering Leader to drive geotechnical design and delivery excellence across major projects.
About the Role
Lead the geotechnical design process across all project phases.
Plan and interpret geotechnical investigations and produce detailed geotechnical models and reports.
Deliver geotechnical assessments for foundations, slope stability, settlement, ground improvement, and detailed geohazard mitigation strategies.
Provide peer reviews and technical sign-off for geotechnical deliverables.
The Ideal Candidate
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia.
Registration on the National Engineering Register (NER) and/or Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), or ability to obtain.
Proven experience in the geotechnical design of infrastructure projects, preferably within the power, energy, or civil construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, ground improvement, and slope stability.
Proficient in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, SLIDE, LPILE, Settle3, gINT, WALLAP, or equivalent.
