Responsibilities
Preparation of delicious treats and desserts for corporate functions and events, including high teas and weddings
Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and quality
Decorate pastries using a variety of icings, toppings for appeal
Adhere to strict cleaning and food hygiene program
Creatively contribute to food promotion
Knowledge of all Pastry methods involved in the preparation of items produced in Pastry Kitchen
Ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintain to meet Work Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines
Any other duties assigned by your manager
About you / Qualifications
Have a natural positive demeanor, with excellent communication, delegation and training skills
Possess artistic and creative flair
Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse team
Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above, Certificate 3 in Patisserie or equivalent
Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standards
