**About Us**

Florentia manufactures semi-finished ingredients for use in gelato, ice cream, beverages and specialty desserts.

We are an Australian-owned company, based in St Peters. Our team is dedicated to producing high quality products and is always striving to maintain the highest standards in production.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Co-ordinator to run and oversee the daily production of our products. You'll be working closely with the management team, ensuring that the manufacturing and safety requirements of the business are being achieved.

**Key responsibilities of the Role, include but are not limited to**:

- Managing the production schedule.
- Directing, reviewing and monitoring work to ensure safety, quality standards and production efficiencies are being achieved.
- Recommend and implement improvements in production methods, processes, equipment and quality of products.
- HACCP experience necessary as daily forms are required to be filled in for pre, mid and post-production.
- Quality Control (QC) experience necessary.
- Overseeing employees daily activities, ensuring effective performance and completion of tasks.
- Attention to detail and an organised manner of working.
- Food machine experience advantageous.

**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing business.
- Qualifications in Manufacturing or Food Processing advantageous.
- Good people skills as you will be reporting to management and dealing with employees on a daily basis, this will also extend to dealing with suppliers and customers on occasions.
- Proven ability to work well in teams and individually.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and high levels of time management.
- Being punctual, reliable and flexible attitude with the ability to evolve with the business.
- Forklift license preferred.

The Production Co-ordinator role at times can be challenging but also rewarding, we have a wide range of products and are frequently developing new products and formulations so your days will be varied.
