Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the adoption of cloud practices and elevate our team's capability in designing and implementing secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products through automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates.
Implement, develop, and document standards, processes, and frameworks to support modern DevOps release deployments across all stages and iterations of the software development lifecycle.
Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programmes, developing effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures, and constraints of performance and feasibility.
Apply sound advice and guidance on Information Security practices to ensure that cloud solutions deployed are secure by design and embedded into solution architecture.
Lead integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measure and monitor applications against development standards, assess risks, and take preventative action.
Provide advice and guidance on test planning and executing, adopting modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality DevOps practices.
Gather requirements and identify functional needs through business consultation and collaboration, define and implement cloud solutions as required.
Remain up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, evaluate benefits of adopting them into our department, implement, and drive adoption.
Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations, collaborate with Security teams to implement controls and maintain a high, compliant security posture.
