**About the Team**

Providing services to a range of sectors, our team is proud of our achievements, and always seek new and innovative ways to exceed our clients' expectations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Lead / Principal Designer for our Civil Engineering team in Brisbane.

**Your role**

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

- Leading the design team on Brisbane's marquee urban redevelopment precinct that will ultimately have national and global significance, pioneering sustainable infrastructure solutions
- Play a key role in shaping ADG's rapidly expanding civil team working across key sectors, transport infrastructure, master planning & land development and commercial & residential built-form
- Be part of ADG's National Civil leadership team to develop and implement ADG's overall strategy for the design team and wider civil team
- Leading and managing a team of civil design technicians and design engineers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet client requirements
- Developing and implementing design strategies, processes, and procedures that ensure the success of the design team and wider civil team
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure the successful completion of design projects
- Fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the design team and wider civil team
- Actively engaging with clients, stakeholders, and project partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

**Your experience**:

- An Advanced Diploma (AQF6) qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in design management or lead design roles
- Proven experience in leading design teams on large-scale projects, across either infrastructure, transport, or land developments sectors
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team to achieve common goals
- A strong focus on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
- A passion for delivering successful project outcomes that meet client requirements
- Experience in using design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3d, PCDrain and PCSewer.
