We are seeking an experienced
**Duty Manager **for this busy venue located in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

The property features hotel / motel rooms, on site bottle shop, restaurant & bars and is a busy property. There are 30 staff employed on site, some live on site and others come from the local area.

The location is a hive of activity with local shopping facilities & numerous local events. Outside of work there are plenty of hotels and restaurants to visit on days off, local tours operating and plenty of places to explore. A great place to meet people and a welcoming local community.

**Immediate Start**

**Package Details**:

- $67,000 salary
- 5 day week
- Free Accommodation & Duty Meals
- Own large room which has only just been built, new furnishing, flatscreen TV and wifi - bathrooms, lounge areas and kitchen are communal
- Relocation Assistance Available

**The key responsibilities of the role are**:

- A genuine passion for the Food & Beverage industry
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor
- Providing an outstanding dining experience for all customers
- Day to day hands on management of the bistro and bar, this includes opening and closing duties and assisting with reception and bottleshop management when required
- Guide, lead and train the bistro and bar team in order to deliver a consistent high standard of service
- Managing bistro bookings and allocations
- Attending, organising and participating in staff and management meetings

**We are looking for people with**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant/bistro/bar supervisory/management role
- Experience working in a fast paced bistro/bar environment
- Sound knowledge of wine, beers and spirits
- Understanding of labour and operating costs
- Availability to work a range of shifts, including day, evening, weekend and Public Holiday shifts
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- WA Approved Managers certificate
