Ironside Resources have partnered with Macmahon mining to create a new career pathway for Defence Force veterans to build a sustainable and rewarding career in mining.

We all know that Defence Force veterans come with a range of values, attributes and transferable skills, and as such we are looking for just six veterans to train together as Dump Truck Operators, based in Perth, WA.

On offer is a Certificate II Underground Metalliferous Mining, which is a minimum 12-month program aimed at introducing personnel new to the mining industry, with the view to long-term employment with our industry partner.

**Pay info (we know it's important)**:
As a trainee truck operator, depending upon location and roster, you can expect an annual salary range between ~$87,000 (14 days on, 14 days off) to ~$105,000 (14 days on, 7 days off).

These rosters are determined by which site you would go to, and are of course, just the tip of what earning potential you have once you finish the 12 month training period.
