Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport's governing body, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. As we continue to grow the TA Retail Business both on and offsite, we are seeking a talented Merchandise Planner to join the Retail and Licensing team and manage the seamless logístical execution and fulfilment of the merchandise business.

About the role

Reporting into the Head of Retail & Licensing, in this role you will identify and improve process & logistic efficiency targets that drive revenue growth and a more seamless consumer experience.

In this role you will;
- Manage the merchandise business back end: warehousing, upstream and downstream logistics, software, retail service provider, collaborating with finance and third parties
- Lead operational activity: planning, coordination and interface between software providers
- Manage the onsite warehouse and replenishment process during the event
- Stakeholder management both internally and from external suppliers
- Manage relationship licensees and suppliers including information transfer, reporting & accounts
- Provide leadership for Logistic team during the event

About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Significant experience in retail operational management within sporting/major event context - preferable
- Excellent communication with the ability to build strong relationships & work cross-functionally
- High level of organisation and project management skills
- Mastery of the logistics chain: from the supplier to the customer
- Working knowledge of an ERP like Pronto/Cognos
- Ability to inspire and lead a team in a high-pressure environment
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
