- Full-time maximum term position to 31 December 2025 based at our Werribee site
- Annual salary is $87,354 + 11.5% super

**About the role**

**To be considered for these positions, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria**:

- A minimum of a Diploma in a relevant VET discipline, Adult Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET)
- Current Certificate IV in TAE
- Some training and program coordination experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement the regulatory and compliance requirements in delivery of curriculum and assessment in the VET sector
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to work within the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), VET Quality Framework, Skills First policy frameworks, Training Packages, and delivery requirements
- Demonstrated skills in overseeing and coordinating day to day operations in education or related social services
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of trainers and administrators in developing and delivering high quality adult education programs, including timetabling and management of emergency trainers
- Proven ability to effectively coordinate, motivate and lead the performance of staff and implement changes to procedures to improve outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule training programs to CALD clients within budget constraints to meet KPIs effectively and efficiently
- High level understanding of government funded adult education programs and the ability to implement financially sustainable delivery
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Student Management (SMS), Learning Management systems (LMS), and training platforms and Business Intelligence tools (Moodle STRATA)
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective mentoring, training, and support for all trainers
- Practical understanding of the principles of language pedagogy, adult learning, and the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse learners
- Knowledge and understanding of CALD communities, programs and services, and the connections applied between them
- Ability to coordinate and lead staff in creating and maintaining an effective and challenging learning and working environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a project
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills to liaise effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholder groups
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels, both autonomously and co-operatively in a team environment
- Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork, and professionalism and demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement principles.
