Vet Nurse

The Glen Eira clinic team are seeking a Vet Nurse to join on a Part-time basis. We are a small, close-knit team of animal lovers, with care and communication as a top priority. Our clinic is modern and close to public transport, cafes, and a short drive from the beach. The Glen Eira clinic team are well known and loved in the community and by our loyal and longstanding clientele; we care for a range of animals — dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and mice, as well as wildlife.
What You'll Be Doing Each Day- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre- and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
- Administration duties when required
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with competency in all areas of nursing
- Ability and eagerness to mentor and guide junior nurses
- A friendly, team player, go-getter attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
