Your new role:
Join Metro South Health's Pharmacy Department to contribute to the RECARD study, a pharmacist-led interdisciplinary transition of care service aimed at improving outcomes for high-risk cardiology patients.
You will provide research support, ensure adherence to study protocols, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and reduce hospital readmissions.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage research tasks including participant recruitment, consent, data collection, and data integrity.
Support the RECARD study through record maintenance, compliance monitoring, and quality auditing.
Collaborate with pharmacists, researchers, and clinicians to deliver clinical and research milestones.
Contribute to education, training, and continuous improvement in research practices.
About you:
We're seeking a highly organised and collaborative pharmacist with a passion for research and patient-centred care.
You will bring:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
Experience in clinical research, ideally within cardiology or multidisciplinary care teams.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
High-level communication skills for engaging patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
