**ABOUT OUR CLIENT**

Our client is a highly respected for purpose organisation committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable individuals across Australia, through various support services; alcohol and other drugs, mental health, clinical and housing support. They are now entering an exciting and evolving environment where an opening exists for a General Manager (GM) of Data & Applications.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The GMDA position is a key contributor in meeting the organisations strategic objectives by implementing the technology systems that showcase ACSO's client outcome data and broader impact measurement, as well as enhance client services, clinical practice and employee safety.

In addition, the position will develop, strengthen and manage a team of data professionals (analytics/reporting, systems and development) covering a range of disciplines to build organisational capability and provide long term insights and guidance to support the future of data initiatives. The GMDA will drive collaborative ways of working and effective engagement across the business and with external partners and stakeholder groups.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Partner with the CSO and Executive Team to build a new Data and Digital Strategy roadmap addressing organisation's requirements and expectations;
- Ensure strong Agile delivery capability for all project initiatives;
- Manage and improve the digital and data environment and identify opportunity for improvement via optimisation, redesign or process improvement;
- Foster a strong working environment that encourages innovation and strives for continuous improvement in systems and services delivered to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide strong Collaboration with stakeholders and customers across the organisation.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Strong previous experience delivering a transformation Technology roadmap with digital and data capability;
- Strong progressive leadership experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the business and externally;
- Strong operations experience managing and running the technology function of an organisation;
- Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with attention to details and technicalities;
- Have the agility to drive principals of transformation, change and innovation;
- Deep commitment and genuine interest in community, people, and teams;
- Degree in IT or a related field with a minimum of five years' experience in a related industry in a supervisory position.
