**Quick overview of the role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, you will operate all machinery in a safe manner and ensure that all loads are correctly produced, prepared, packed & loaded with a clear focus on safety. As an Operator of the branch network, you may be required to act as an Operator and/or Loader and/or Driver or elements of all three, dependent on the business needs and skill set of the team.

**What will you be doing?**
- Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
- Reporting any faults to your manager or supervisor immediately
- Unloading the racks of all machines and loading accordingly to the live load list
- Checking the tag(s) provided on the bundle(s) before loading and ensure that it is correct
- Ensure any/all produced product is within tolerances & bundled/packed safely for transportation
- Operating all machine and using any relevant equipment in a safe manner as stated in the TAP
- Using the concept of pyramid loading on all loads
- Communicate with other staff ensuring a productive, cost effective & safe worksite
- Safe unloading of Goods Inwards Deliveries & ensuring accuracy of paperwork
- Safe loading of Vehicles within the Safe Loading Guidelines
- Complete relevant paperwork, ensuring it is filled out correctly & accurately, i.e., preparation, production, loading, unloading, delivery, etc.
- Previous manufacturing/construction/production experience
- Current forklift license essential
- Physically able to lift products and work standing up for most of the workday
- Be a good communicator and team player
- Have a good sense of humour
- Be proactive, organised and hardworking
