**About the Role**:
Located in Sydney's Arndell Park - the **Traffic Coordinator **role is responsible for the optimum production of maintenance & project (traffic control) activities on the SRAP Parklands contract - through the optimum planning, resourcing, and scheduling of workflow.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with maintenance planners, ITS engineers and project engineers to confirm scope of works and determine traffic management requirements to achieve completion of the scope.
- Develop and/or provide shift plans to Traffic Management providers and discuss the design of Traffic Guidance Schemes.
- Design Traffic Guidance Scheme's (TGS) & Traffic Management Plans (TMP) when required - Using systems such as Rapid Plan.
- Liaise with Control Room Operations to handle and own network incidents which require traffic management.
- Work with internal delivery teams to develop a weekly lookahead plan which is delivered to traffic management providers, operations teams and/or maintenance teams, on a weekly basis.
- Participate and contribute to an effective and productive team.
- Assist Traffic Manager with business activities, Including the review of TGS.
- Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders' requirements are met by building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships. And work with stakeholders to ensure no project conflicts within the network and gain client approvals.
- Assist Traffic Manager to ensure contract KPIs are met and documented
- Drive continuous improvement, work proactively between delivery teams.
- Assist Traffic Manager to action all client requests autonomously within time and budget.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Prepare Work zone Traffic Management Plan (Level 3)
- Traffic Controller (Level 1) - Desirable
- Implement Traffic Management Plans (Level 2) - Desirable
- General Induction (White Card)
- Rapid Plan system experience - Highly Desirable
- Works management and scheduling skills
- Asset vision/SAP/GIS experience desirable
- Driver's License
- TFNSW Oplinc system experience - Desirable Cert IV in Supervision (Desirable)
- Proven experience in managing direct workforce.
- Demonstrated budget management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing traffic control requirements.
