**Risk Sales Specialist**
We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on companies that strive for excellence in regulatory compliance.

**About the Role**
This role is central to continuing our success and growing the business in the Pacific region. As a Risk Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- ** New Sales
- **Grow compliance learning and regulatory intelligence business in the Pacific-region by proactively developing and deploying sales strategies in collaboration with account management and utilizing specialist knowledge. Major emphasis on opening up new business, both within existing accounts and new customers. Bring inbound leads to closure. Use CRM to manage client communication, sales pipeline, and prioritize leads to effective closing.
- ** Grow selected strategic accounts -** Work with our existing client base to both retain repeat business and open new opportunities. Develop strategic annual plans with our largest customers to map out their regulatory learning journeys for current year and future. Leverage your domain expertise to build credibility and trust. Collaborate and support the GTM-teams from our Tax and Legal divisions.
- ** Market Development & Thought Leadership - **work with marketing teams to execute and provide expertise to support our market development efforts. Represent Thomson Reuters at relevant events and fora.
- ** Local Product & Market Expertise - **capture feedback from customers and monitor regulatory changes that necessitate new product offerings or updates. Work with global teams to ensure our products meet local needs and will drive growth. Attend relevant events and monitor other sources to ensure knowledge currency.
- ** Invest & Collaborate with the Team**:
- you will serve a central role in our Emerging Markets and Asia regulatory team. Be an internal and external advocate for these solutions and get others excited. Mentor new joiners to drive business growth
**About you**
- Over 5 years of sales experience, with track record of exceeding quota
- Demonstrated strong sales 'closer'
- Structured and hands-on approach to managing their prospecting and business development activities
- Consultative selling experience: Ability to discuss with and understand client needs, map clients' requirements to our offerings, provide comprehensive solutions, discuss with pre-sales team, quote prices, prepare proposals and presentations.
- Experience in financial and non-financial markets dealing with associated compliance obligations and regulations
- Strong understanding of training and learning workflows within client organizations preferred
