OverviewJoin UGL as a Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver at Williamtown RAAF Base, NSW.
UGL is a Defence sector provider delivering fuel services across multiple locations and supports the Australian Defence Force through operations and maintenance, asset management and fuel supply services.
This role offers a long-term opportunity within an operations and maintenance contract in the Australian Defence environment to support national security.ResponsibilitiesOperate a fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence baseWork closely with the operator to safely load your fuel truck with the required fuelDeliver the fuel to designated fuel points (e.g., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway)Operate pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraftCommunicate with internal and external teams to ensure a good customer experienceQualificationsMC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling LicenceProven experience operating heavy vehiclesExperience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regardedGood communicator and ability to work in a diverse teamCurrent holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearancesJob detailsLocation: Australia-NSW-Newcastle, Maitland & HunterWork Type: Full-timeDiscipline: DriverSeniority level: Entry levelJob function: Management and ManufacturingBenefitsCompetitive hourly rates with market leading company benefitsLong-term opportunity, with locational stability; work close to home for as long as you want
