Overview

Join to apply for the Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver role at the Bendigo Advertiser. This role is based at the Williamtown RAAF Base in the NSW Hunter Region, within UGL's Operations & Maintenance team. The position offers a long-term contract with a Tier 1 services provider in the Defence sector.

Responsibilities
  • Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base.
  • Work closely with the operator to safely load the fuel tank truck with the required fuel.
  • Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point, e.g., refuelling point or aircraft on the runway.
  • Operate pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft.
  • Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
What You Need
  • MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential.
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded.
  • Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team.
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain, relevant security clearances.
