Location :Brisbane CBD | Hybrid
Pay Rate :$134.55 / hour + Super
Duration : 12 Months
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join a large Government Department, supporting a wide range of ICT Service Management initiatives.
This role is hands-on, requiring strong ServiceNow development skills combined with the ability to lead technical delivery and drive continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of technical solutions across ServiceNow and ICT projects.
Develop, script, and enhance ServiceNow modules, features, and workflows.
Implement process improvements, automation, and integrations with internal and external teams.
Prepare technical plans, roadmaps, and release schedules for product delivery.
Oversee architecture, coding, and delivery of APIs and frameworks with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
Support governance processes, including environment provisioning and Go Live activities.
Stay across emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and industry best practices.
Mandatory Requirements
ServiceNow Admin Certification (or higher).
ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher).
3+ years' hands-on ServiceNow development experience (ITSM, ITSM Pro, ITOM, CSM, Digital Product Release).
Desirable Skills & Experience
Extensive ServiceNow development (coding, administration, architecture, enhancements, integrations, and data management).
Scripting and automation (Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Workflow Design).
Experience working within Public Sector or large government environments.
Proficiency in one or more of the following :
Net Core, C#, SQL Server
Angular, React, JavaScript, Glide, HTML, CSS, PowerShell
Experience with Microsoft technologies :
Azure services (PaaS, IaaS, Express Route, AAD)
O365 suite (Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform)
On-premises (Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM)
Strong documentation skills (solution architecture, high / low-level designs, operations / as-built guides).
