Sponsorship & Events Leader

Lion, home to Australia's most iconic beer and ready-to-drink (RTD) brands – Hahn, Stone & Wood, Four Pillars, and Kirin Hyoketsu – is seeking a strategically-minded Sponsorship & Events Leader to join us in South Australia on a permanent full-time basis.
This leadership role involves managing a team and overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our sponsorship and events to align with brand objectives and our national strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with key customers across various properties such as stadiums, racetracks, sporting clubs, and festivals.
Oversee sponsorship contract performance, negotiations, and issue resolution.
Identify growth opportunities within current and new customer segments.
Act as a brand ambassador by executing sponsorships and events that drive growth.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Maintain the sponsorship and event schedule and analyze ROI after each event.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement focused on simplicity and sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and energize teams.
Innovative mindset with the courage to challenge existing practices and propose new strategies.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Financial acumen with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to interpret key financial indicators and inform decision-making.
