**What this opportunity involves**:
Reporting to the Trust Accounts Manager, the Trust Accounts Officer will manage the accurate and timely processing of trust accounts in accordance with internal control standards and service level agreement within the business.

Based in JLL's corporate office in Sydney CBD and/or Parramatta, you will get the opportunity to work with a close-knitted team.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover.

**Snapshot of the role**:
Upload daily cash receipts and payments from the bank, generate reports and follow up on rejected transactions.
Liaise with the bank account to follow up on unidentified deposits, investments, and other general issues.
Ensure that cash books are up to date for each bank account and property.
Bank reconciliation issues to be monitored and reported on daily
Assist to resolve escalated enquires /issues.

**EFTs**: Liaise with the banks to follow up on unidentified deposits, investments and other general issues.
Ensure that all EFT's are identified within the state regulation
To ensure that all trust breaches are escalated and that the relevant state body and auditors are advised within the given timeframe.
Ensure bank reconciliation for all trust bank accounts are maintained and signed off in a timely manner and according to trust regulations by the Trust Manager and Licensee
Undertake daily bank reconciliations for all trust bank accounts, by property, in a timely manner
Resolution of reconciling items within bank reconciliations
Produce monthly cash report and ensure it is provided to the Licensee for sign-off
Month end processing tasks.

Relevant Trust Accounting experience from a property/legal industry will be highly regarded
Trust regulations knowledge or experience will be desirable but not essential
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely data entry skills
Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritising own workload
Excellent communication skills - telephone, written and in person
A great team player
