The Company
The role This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hardworking Bookkeeper/Administrator to be part of a friendly small team where your contribution will be highly valued. You will be working closely with Management and providing a diverse mix of accounts and administration work.
This role is permanent part time and will suit someone looking for 3 days per week. Based in Derwent Park is a great opportunity for a customer-centric individual looking to bring their existing business operations, accounting, and administration experience.

**To be considered for this great role you will have**:

- 3-5 years' experience in Bookkeeping or similar role
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and adaptability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to plan and organise and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a high level of initiative with the ability to work autonomously
- Exposure to and knowledge of electrical industry practices is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or trade-based company would be advantageous

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- General bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to: invoicing, entering bills, reconciliations, BAS/IAS etc
- Processing payroll & superannuation
- Maintaining job register, job costing data and reporting
- Booking in freight consignments as required
- Maintaining WHS records
- Prepare weekly reports for Management
- General administrative functions including phone answering, filing, mail etc
- Using initiative to identify and recommend process and system improvements
