
Dealer Sales Manager

Due to an increase in business and strong plans for growth, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Dealer Business Manager, Dealer Sales to join our team in Sydney on a permanent basis.
Your main duties will include partnering with assigned independent Steelcase dealers to build alignment, develop sales, promote/implement key programs/initiatives, and help direct sales strategies as part of the Steelcase selling process. You will develop relationships to build trust and alignment with dealers and dealer leadership.
**Requirements**:
- Develops Steelcase strategy to help dealers achieve their business objectives by creating a win for the customer, the Dealer and Steelcase.
- Accountable for annual dealer alignment plans for assigned dealers.
- Identifies sales activity for non-assigned dealer business opportunities on a local and/or national basis.
- Build and leverage relationships within the dealer's organization.
- Build relationships with dealers through program implementation, key initiatives, development of plans, pricing, and sales support.
- Understand and bridge relationships between the customer, dealer, and other influencers in the process.
- Build and support a customer-focused, cross-functional team comprised of Steelcase and dealer resources to create and close customer opportunities.
- Ensure Steelcase and/or our dealers are mobilized to support customer opportunities.
- Utilize appropriate Steelcase tools to optimize yield.
- Grow market and dealer share while achieving profitability goals for both Steelcase and dealers.
- Implement key corporate initiatives and programs as identified to leverage dealer sales resources.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Must successfully complete appropriate training as required.
- Prior sales and/or dealer experience required.
- Knowledge of sales organization and sales process.
- Knowledge of Steelcase/dealer relationships.
