Job Title
Senior Project Engineer
This role requires a professional with extensive experience in capital project management, specifically in electrical systems and infrastructure within a mining environment.
As the Senior Project Engineer – Electrical, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of sustaining capital electrical projects from concept through to commissioning.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Electrical Engineering degree and a manual driver's licence. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a capable site electrical projects team
Support cross-functional teams in project delivery and commissioning
Lead stakeholder engagement across technical and operational teams
Resolve long-standing site issues through innovative engineering solutions
Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards across all projects
Requirements
You must hold a recognised Electrical Engineering degree and a manual driver's licence. Additionally, you will bring extensive capital project management experience in a mining environment, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.
Professional body membership is valued but not essential.
