1. Successfully completed 100 hours of on-the-job placement

2. Experience taking responsibility for the quality of one's own care work

3. Experience performing care duties under limited direct and/or indirect supervision, including compliance with documentation requirements via a computer

4. A positive attitude and solutions focused approach

5. Genuine empathy for older people and a willingness to assist them to live their best life
- Desirable_

1. Completion of VET Medication Units of competence, Assist clients with medication and Administer and monitor medications or willing to undertake.
