We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to join the Western Health Perioperative team as our Sterilisation Services Manager.

As Western Health continues to expand in Melbourne's Western growth corridor, services and campuses continue to increase. These expansion plans, alongside continual improvement and maintenance of compliance with Australian and ISO Standards requires an autonomous leader with an advanced level of clinical and professional practice.

Working in partnership with the Perioperative Operations Manager and Infection Prevention Team the Sterilisation Services Manager is central in ensuring Western Health delivers safe, high quality care to our patients by minimising infection risks through adequate identification of, and procedures for reprocessing, reusable medical equipment.

The Sterilisation Services Manager will provide leadership, governance and ongoing development of decontamination and reprocessing processes within the strategic and operational domains at Western Health, ensuring the provision of a decontamination and reprocessing is in line with the relevant Australian, ISO and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

As senior leader in the Perioperative and Critical Care team the Sterilisation Services Manager interacts with other clinical support managers to lead the team demonstrating behaviours and attitudes that are consistent with Western Health Values.
