Working closely with a supportive and values-driven team, you'll lead environmental compliance, community engagement, and progressive rehabilitation initiatives, while mentoring your team and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Settle into family friendly Cobar township with our company housing at discounted rates and further enhance your savings through salary sacrificeDIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowanceFIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or MelbourneKey responsibilitiesLead environmental compliance and approvals with care and attentionFoster positive community and stakeholder relationshipsMentor and support the Environment & Community team's growthEnsure regulatory reporting and environmental standards are metGuide operations and exploration teams on sustainable practicesQualifications and experienceDegree in Environmental Management, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years' experience in a similar roleAt least 2 years in mining or heavy industryStrong understanding of NSW environmental legislation, approvals, and reportingExperienced in managing teams, projects, and stakeholder relationships effectivelyExcellent communication, negotiation, and mentoring skills with a collaborative approachProficient in GIS and MS Office, with mining experience highly regardedValues-driven and committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive team cultureParental and Family Support: 18 weeks for primary carers, two weeks for secondary carersHealth and Wellbeing: Counselling support, physio access, fitness perksWork-Life Balance: Resident, DIDO, FIFO options with added benefitsCareer Development: Training, apprenticeships and graduate programsCommunity: Local employment focus with relocation assistanceEmployee Referral Scheme: Employee referral payment of $7,500 for selected rolesReady to get started?
