We are seeking dedicated
Production Operators
to join our Charters Towers, QLD team. This role operates on a
4:3 roster
and offers
ongoing training and career advancement opportunities
.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and packaging explosives, including batching, assembly, coiling, and distribution
Maintaining plant and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
Undertaking ongoing training to enhance skills and expertise
Conducting stock control, inventory checks, and monitoring deliveries
Operating forklifts (valid high-risk ticket preferred but not essential)
Performing general maintenance and cleaning of equipment, vehicles, and forklifts
Engaging in manual handling tasks and maintaining a clean workspace
Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
Requirements:
Ability to pass a
fitness assessment, drug and alcohol screening
National Police Clearance
(current, within six months)
Reliable transport to and from the site
Flexible approach
to work hours based on operational needs
Willingness to undertake various duties as required
Maintenance experience is
highly valued
Successful applicants will undergo a
pre-employment medical
and must provide a
current police clearance
