About the role
The Staff Health (SH) Administrative & Technical Support Officer assist and support the National Staff Health Nurse to implement, manage, improve and review an Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Service across the Calvary Community Care (CCC) and Calvary Residential Aged Care (CRAC) Services.
The position is permanent and 0.5FTE and located in Canberra (working from the Calvary ACT Regional Office located in Deakin).
**Your main duties will include**:
Assess the information submitted by prospective and existing employees and load staff vaccination data onto the Calvary Staff Health Database. Where clinical input or interpretation required, escalate to the National Staff Health Nurse.
Run Staff Health compliance reports on request.
Progress and follow-up all Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and PRODA access requests and issues.
Participate in continuous improvement by supporting staff health and Infection Prevention and Control related projects and initiatives.
