OverviewCivil Engineer - Transport Infrastructure - Relocate to RockhamptonLocation: Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.

Located in AECOM's Transport Team, this opportunity involves leading and delivering transport and general civil planning and design projects, building client relationships, and team leadership.ResponsibilitiesLead general civil work including road design and urban precinct planning projects for government and private sector clients.Act as Project Manager / Technical Lead on a range of projects, including business development, proposal writing, and bidding for civil infrastructure projects.Collaborate with engineers across Australia to deliver key transport design services on transport infrastructure projects.Lead and mentor junior team members, manage projects financially, and support regional team leadership.Contribute to team and strategic planning, working with internal stakeholders to drive success.QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ; ideally 12+ years experience in a consultancy, local council, or state government setting.Strong leadership potential with an interest in long-term growth within a global organisation.Extensive design and/or project management experience with civil infrastructure and transport projects for state government or local councils.Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and ability to apply technical knowledge to projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively internally and with clients to develop and maintain networks.Benefits & Why You'll Love Working with UsFlexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, part-time, job-sharing, and hybrid work options.Purchase up to 6 weeks of additional annual leave per year.Volunteer and representation leave; flexible public holidays.About AECOMAECOM provides comprehensive services from concept to completion across transportation, buildings, water, energy, and the environment.
