Spanish Teacher Temporary Part-time / Term 1, 2026
The School's Languages program is exemplary and seeks a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced Spanish teacher to join the team of committed and professional staff.
This is a temporary part-time role (0.8 FTE - 4 days/week) for a parental leave replacement in Term 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
Recent experience in teaching Spanish to Years 7 to 10 students
Enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to inspire secondary age students
Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to their subject area
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the LOTE team
Confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom
An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian framework, values and ethos
Though not essential, experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage.
