Our client is seeking a Merchandise Allocator accountable for the management of daily stock functions to ensure that correct stock levels are in stores & warehouse at all times to maximise sales
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Ensure stock levels are maintained by monitoring and replenishing stock levels in our warehouse and stores, in line with the Planning Manager.
- Ensure deliveries are within agreed time frames into store.
- Reporting of known stock shortages/surpluses upon delivery into stores.
- Manage the replenishment system at a style and size level in conjunction with Planning Manager.
- Conduct monthly reviews of in store stock levels against warehouse stock levels.
- Regular visits to the 3PL Warehouse will be necessary.
**Requirements For The Job**:
- Relevant tertiary or related qualifications are preferred. Finance, accounting, commerce degrees desirable.
- 2-3 years' experience within retail environment, 1 years experience allocating.
- Highly developed analytical and practical skills, ability to adapt to new systems.
- Proficient to intermediate skills in Excel.
- Willingness to launch and streamline new and existing procedures and systems.
- High organised, detailed & focused approach to work and deadlines.
- Ability to think laterally on issues and take proactive approach to resolve them.
- A positive & proactive attitude, willing to learn
